About Your Professional Massage Therapist

Hello! My name is Tamara Buchanan, and I am a licensed massage therapist in the state of Arizona. I am an Arizona native; I grew up in Chandler, attended Dobson High School in Mesa and I have lived in Maricopa since 2002, and I absolutely love this community! I graduated from the Arizona School of Massage Therapy in 2013 and since graduating I have had experience working in a day spa, a fitness center, as well as a chiropractic office. Heavenly Hands of Maricopa officially opened for business in August of 2014. I would like to first and foremost thank my Lord and Savior for allowing me this opportunity to serve others and be able to do what I love in my own home. I cannot even begin to express how truly blessed I feel each and every day, getting to work in this incredible field that honestly doesn’t even feel like a job. I also have an amazing support system, and they have all stood beside me and made sacrifices through this incredible journey that allowed me to finally be able to live out my dream. I have four amazing adult kids including 2 Marines (Ooh Rah!) and a husband who is always there for me to lean on and help me through every single step of this journey. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart!

I started down this career path because of my late grandmother, who would work on my feet when I was a young girl, as she was fascinated with Reflexology. I was intrigued, and never forgot those special moments together as I got older. Reflexology is now one of my favorite massage modalities; it is very special to me.

I enjoy providing relaxation to my clients; seeing a client walk in stressed and in pain and then being able to see them in a better place after our session, physically and mentally, is beyond amazing. I am truly blessed to be able to do what I do. I am passionate about massage and I will be sensitive and attentive to your every need. Your massage sessions are about you and your well being, which is extremely important to me. I show each and every client that gets on my table the same amount of care and concern.

I put a lot of effort into helping each client feel relaxed and comfortable. If for you that means wanting to listen to another type of music, asking for lighter/deeper pressure or even asking for a pillow, then just communicate that to me. All that matters is that you are able to relax and have a wonderful experience.
